Episode: Time for YOU to WALK and TALK 4 Success?

Podcast: Merle of Merlemade Tales

Walking and talking with Merle of Merle Made Tales -

art, being seen, confidence and turkeys!

A beautiful walk near Forest Row in East Sussex and a fabulous conversation about art and growing an art
business. Merle creates gorgeous illustrations and prints which she sells at fairs and online. You can see her love of nature and fairytales – weaving characters and seasonal magic into all of her work. It’s not surprise that Merle loves to walk for inspiration and a way to unwind and create space for herself. I loved this conversation with Merle and coming across a flock of rather large Turkeys was certainly entertaining!

Podcast: Christine Wise

Christine's journey takes us from becoming a qualified hairdresser quite young, working in top salons, to single parenting, passive income and working to grow a business that earns even when she's on holiday,
alongside everything else. Also not one to sit around, Christine talked about how she managed lockdown and the importance of being positive and taking charge of your own life. She is a super driven woman ,but always with people and relationships at the centre - she doesn't climb over people but by helping others is always growing herself too. With ambitions to do more speaking on stage, I think you'll agree, Christine has a lot of good stuff to say and is just very inspiring.

Podcast: Lucy Pitts

Walking with the brilliant Lucy Pitts - creator of Sussex Exclusive Magazine talking adventure, ADHD and deadlines, tree hugging, getting lost on purpose and much more!

As Lucy and I walk together and explore a cave, appreciate huge trees, take a 'wrong' path and wonder what happens when we get lost, we also dig into how she came to be the creator and editor of her own successful online magazine - Sussex Exclusive

Lucy's career started with Law, then with 3 kids in quick succession moved into business as a Copy Writer, plus being Editor of a French magazine -  when you step back it looks obvious but sometimes when you're up close, it isn't and it took an exploration of her passions - adventure, nature, writing and editing and a prompt from a friend to hatch the idea that has become something of a passion project with ambition.

Life juggling three teenagers where ADHD plays a role, massive dogs, running a business that involves a lot of travel plus challenges and adventuring keeps this lady very busy!

Lucy and I share a love of nature and she sees a daily nature fix, whether it's early morning walks or runs, being up high for big space to breathe or tree hugging - it's one 'self care' (we're not mad on that phrase) activity that as a very busy person, is essential to her wellbeing.

Come and join us on our little adventure and check out the magazine too for interesting articles, plus top tips on where to go and what to do and experience in beautiful Sussex.

Podcast: Tracey Campbell

Walking and Talking with Tracey Campbell (Homeopath, horse rider and doggy lover)

Tracey, Ted (the dog) and I walking and talking all things homeopathy, business and women's health.

Tracey is a successful Homeopath who I first met as a member of my Walk&Talk Mastermind and I've followed her progress and journey from early stages, to being a recognised expert with international clients and her own course, teaching people how to use a homeopathic toolkit for everyday needs at home. She specialises and is passionate about supporting women's health and also loves to work with children, who she says are the way forward for us all to look after our health more naturally.

Our discussion ranged from how Tracey came to Homeopathy, bringing our skills from previous work to our business, doing things a bit differently, adapting to changing times and needs and how looking after yourself and finding what works for you is so important - among lots of other topics.

We had a beautiful walk in a whole new area for me which I really appreciate and came across a lovely surprise near the end - so make sure you listen for that!
